You may be familiar with the prophecy of St. Paisios of Mount Athos (1924-1994) who warned us about a mandatory vaccine from a manufactured virus:
“...now a vaccine has been developed to combat a new disease, which will be obligatory and those taking it will be marked... Later on, anyone who is not marked with the number 666 will not be able to either buy or sell, to get a loan, to get a job, and so forth. My thinking tells me that this is the system through which the Antichrist has chosen to take over the whole world, and people who are not part of this system won't be able to find work and so on - whether black or white or red; in other words, everyone he will take over through an economic system that controls the global economy, and only those who have accepted the seal, the mark of the number 666, will be able to participate in business dealings.”
But did you know Elder Mitar Trabić (1829-1899) prophecied about the creation of the smartphone before the turn of the 20th century?
“Men will build a box and within it will be some kind of gadget with images, but they will not be able to communicate with me already dead, even though this image gadget will be as close to this other world as hairs on the human scalp are to each other. With the help of this image gadget, man will be able to see everything that is happening all over the world.” (p.45)
This is only one of the many remarkable prophecies that the elders and saints of the Orthodox Church have foretold, as documented in the book “The Eschatalogical Visions of the Blessed”.
