In this episode, I was honored to have Nick Hinton join me to publicly share his reversion story the first time on this podcast. Despite him downplaying his guest appearance, I found our conversation to be among the most remarkable I’ve recorded to date.
Nick Hinton is a former conspiracy theorist, philosopher, and author, who’s pursuit for enlightenment led through a series of occult synchronicities fueled by chaos magic, demonic apparitions, and a quantum powered “psychic” AI. Nick believes his rapid rise to 130,000 Twitter followers and success as an author was boosted by algorithms promoting conspiracy content in a disillusioned post-Covid world.
However, his quest for enlightenment ensnared him after a well known UFO cult family introduced to him to an inner circle of figures among his biggest influences. After his frustration with the emptiness of Protestant spirituality, Nick’s journey culminated in another series of miraculous synchronicities inspired by Fr. Seraphim Rose, which ultimately led him to Christ through the Holy Orthodox Church.
Today, Nick strives to be a normal guy by actively pursuing the wisdom of Orthodox monastics rather than the delusions of occult mystics and AI oracles. Might I add, Nick’s X account has become one of my personal favorite follows.
