Hello friends and welcome all new subscribers!
I want to start by apologizing for missing the memory dump last week. As I mentioned in the Telegram group - my latest business venture has been taking up much of my time. It is a good thing but I was not prepared to be in this position yet, so I am having to catch up on a lot. This is actually a big reason why I began doing these in the first place, because as much as I enjoy writing articles, it can be very time consuming to do all the research that I put into them.
So for the time being, I may just shift towards publishing shorter, less research intensive articles or sharing other longer form content I come across, kind of like what I’m doing here for the Memory Dump. The best way to stay in the loop with our community is to join the Discord, its been pretty active and we have a comfy group in there.
St John of Shanghai and San Francisco
Today is the feast day of St. John of Shanghai and I encourage you all to read about his life if you haven’t already. He performed many miracles and had the gift of clairvoyance. He healed many people in his life and built a huge orphanage in Shanghai. He served the Divine Liturgy barefoot because he would give away any shoes he received to the poor. When you learn about his life its actually incredible that someone like this lived in the same century as we were born in. Here is a great documentary about his life.
I also wanted to share this story that I found incredible because it shows that Vladyka John had the gift of clairvoyance.
In Shanghai, a voice teacher, Anna Petrovna Lushnikova, taught Vladyka the proper method of breathing and pronunciation of words, thus helping him to better his diction. At the end of each lesson Vladyka paid her 20 dollars. In 1945, during the war, she was gravely wounded and happened to be in a French hospital. On a very stormy night, feeling that she might die, Anna Petrovna began asking the nurses to call Vladyka John, who was in France, so that he would give her Communion. The nurses refused since the hospital was locked up during the night due to war-time conditions. Anna Petrovna was beside herself and kept calling upon Vladyka. Suddenly, around eleven o'clock in the evening, Vladyka appeared in the ward. Unable to believe her eyes, Anna Petrovna asked Vladyka, weather this was a dream or did he really come to her. Vladyka smiled, prayed and administered communion to her. Following this she calmed down and slept. The next morning she felt cured. No one believed Anna Petrovna that Vladyka visited her that night since the hospital was tightly secured. However, her ward neighbor substantiated the fact that she also saw Vladyka. The greatest surprise was that under Anna Petrovna's pillow was found a 20 dollar bill. Thus Vladyka left a material evidence of his visit.
St. Ignatius Brianchaninov. "On Prelest"
This was a really great read on the topic of prelest (spiritual deception). One of the first things that really stood out to me about Orthodoxy was the acknowledgement that one can be spiritually deceived and how easy it is to fall into this state. I see it as one of the most powerful strongholds the devil has on people. If you ever talk to someone in a strong state of spiritual delusion you quickly realize how there is no getting through to them, so all you can do is pray for them. But its important to pray for yourself to not fall into this state as well, and in fact always assume you will.
"Spiritual deception is the state of all men without exception, and it has been made possible by the fall of our original parents. All of us are subject to spiritual deception. Awareness of this fact is the greatest protection against it. Likewise, the greatest spiritual deception of all is to consider oneself free from it" —St. Ignatius (Brianchaninov)
AI and the Religion of the Future?
An article from some liberal Canadian publication was published titled “Could a New Religion Develop around AI?” and I will spare you all the trouble of having to entertain it. The author is just quoting a bunch of fear mongering theologians and religious commentators. I believe AI will surely play a part in the religion of the future and its not hard to see that inevitability. But to say it will become a religion itself is both a misunderstanding of religion and the limitations of AI.
I myself have been using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Midjourney to help automate some of my marketing work, and 9 out of 10 times its frustratingly stubborn even if given descriptive prompts. It is just hard for me to imagine this technology controlling the world when it literally can’t function or generate anything convincing without a surprising amount of human intervention.
Maybe I’m wrong, I just see much greater concerns to be aware of at this time. I believe a big part of the trendiness of the AI question itself is a psyop and a distraction, because the truth is there’s nothing new about this technology. AI and machine learning is what powers the media and social platforms we use every day, thats how the platform is able to recommend similar content and accounts for you to follow and engage with. Its how ads are served to you We seemingly have been blind to that for years and only care about AI now that its a big marketing scheme and ChatGPT released, which is essentially an interactive Google bot. Let me know your thoughts even if you disagree, I do enjoy the AI dialogue but its not something to obsess over either way.
Wildfires as a Weapon
I came across this article that supports my most recent piece on the manufacturing of wildfires as a false flag climate crisis. You can read it here.
Is the military industrial complex insane enough to incinerate Earth's last remaining forests in order to achieve the objectives of the global controllers? The short answer is yes. A formerly classified US military document titled "Forest Fire As A Military Weapon" is a truly shocking exposé of planned scorched Earth destruction. The US Forest Service actually participated in the research and planning that went into this military instruction manual for carrying out orchestrated forest fire catastrophes. What part have climate intervention operations played in the preparation of forests for extreme and unprecedented incineration all over the world? The short video report below reveals the shocking degree of research that the US military and the US Forest Service has put into preparing forests for extreme incineration. [Geoengineering Watch]
