Hey friends, welcome to the 3rd installment of the weekly memory dump. I apologize in advance for the lack of content this week, you’ll find out why I’ve been insanely busy with my current project, which will be ongoing for quite some time. In this week’s memory dump, thoughts and articles on AI, personal musings, some lost history and a Korean child sacrifice cult with ties to the Clintons.

Articles and threads I really enjoyed this week

On the topic of AI, I realize that anything short of believing “AI is totally demonic” is not a popular view in our space. After watching Elon Musk appeared on Tucker Carlson to discuss his desire to have AI on Tucker Carlson, it raised an added layer of general concern over the advancement of this technology. I will withhold delving too much into my personal views on AI in this particular post but I have a lot of notes I’ve been taking on this issue and have a podcast episode lined up to discuss it.

So here are a few articles I read this week regarding AI that were very well written. I really hope to see more nuanced views on this position in our space.

Here and now and in little things, we may foster the saving power in its increase. This includes holding always before our eyes the extreme danger…

Love the Lord > Fear the Borg
On this Great and Holy Friday, when it once seemed all was lost — as Holy Pascha draws near, when the fear in Man of the triumph of the World was overturned and obliterated by God Himself once and for all — I have one reminder for you. Because as of right now, far too many of you fear the Borg more than you love the Lord…
