Were the Pharisees and the Apostles talking to two different people named Jesus? Or can someone who believes Jesus is just a rabbi and someone who knows he is the Christ both talk to the same individual?
This is a false equivalency to the claims of Lumen Gentium which states that Catholics and Muslims *adore* the same God together. The god(s) of Islam and Judaism are not the Triune God of Abraham despite them claiming it is, so this claim is false.
Yeah there is one all powerful creator of the world - God. Both Christians and Muslims are aware that God exists, but with different views about him. We know he's a Trinity, but Muslims reject that. When they are talking about God they get a lot of stuff wrong. However, this is telling because they are getting things wrong about God, meaning they are referring to God. Muslims who bow down to pray multiple times a day are obviously adoring him, how could you disagree with that?
Also I just want to clarify that I am not in any way arguing that Muslim prayer/worship is salvific, but merely that they are praying to the same God that we do
Satan has always desired the worship that belongs to God. Did he not tempt Jesus to bow down and worship him, as he showed Him the kingdoms of this world?
I understand that God watched over Hagar and prophesied over Ishmael, but God does not change.
I cannot equate the god of islam with the God of Scripture.
Yet, Jesus left a door of hope..." what you do unto the least of My brethren, you have done unto Me." Lord Jesus in Your Judgement, Remember Mercy...
Classic Westgate. I love this brief yet extremely meaningful content.

And yet their God has no Son...
